Monograms are Hot in Weddings

Monograms are a massive trend in marriages, to the point at which they feature strongly in some, and in others, give the exact theme. And what’s not to love about monograms? They are chic, understated, flexible, and a dramatic visible reminder of your new life together.

You may find them turning up in more places thru the reception, and often even before it.

Many brides find they can “roll their own” employing a readily-available software program like MS Word or PowerPoint. If you are a graphic designer or have access to top of the range tools, you’d probably favor Adobe Illustrator, but Word or PowerPoint are also fine. If you have played around but do not like the results, call on an arty pal. To design your monogram in MS Word. Type and format the letter the way you love it. You can now copy your image into Microsoft Paint and save in many formats, for example JPEG.

You’ll be wanting to use “Word Art” to form your letters. PowerPoint permits you to save immediately in formats like JPEG, PNG and Quarrel . The bride’s 1st goes 1st in a monogram. When the bride takes the groom’s last name, the order is : bride’s first primary, shared last initial ( customarily bigger ), groom’s first first. If the bride keeps her very own last name, one choice is four-initial monogram ( bride’s first, bride’s last, groom’s last, groom’s first ). Or simply join the couple’s first names with an ampersand ( Jenny & Mike ). So, your reception’s obviously a green light, but you may want to hop using it on your invites.
